ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #248 "ANIMALS"

Good Morning!!!! I can't believe it but this is the last challenge for January already. Where has this month went? I haven't even done everything I wanted in this first month. So, now I'm officially behind on my January to do list. Maybe next month will be better. I know it's a short month but there is always hope. I hope the weather where you are at is better then here. It's so dark and gloomy with rain that's suppose to turn to snow then turn to rain again. What a mess this will be for Monday morning. Before I start on our challenge. I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my DAD. He's the best dad in the world. There are not words enough to say how much I love and appreciate him. LOVE YOU!!!!

I really love animals. I have two cats and two dogs. So, when I seen we were doing animals I was excited. I was going to do a scrapbook layout but ran out of time trying to find the pictures that I know I have in one of these boxes. So, I made a cute little birthday card. Our sponsor this week is Limited Runs Digital Stamps. They have digital stamps with a wide variety of categories and they even have background paper. This is a great blog to follow. I was allowed to use the image "Birthday Puppy." He or she is very adorable. I tried to use neutral colors but I think it's more towards a boy then girl. for one of you lucky winner you will be entering this challenge to win

3 Digital Stamps

Limited Runs Digital Stamps

Here is my little puppy having a birthday. After you see the card I hope you will understand how he is celebrating.

My puppy has two friends on the card and some birthday gifts. My husband thinks I'm off my rocker the way I made it. Everyone says that Woot Woot but mine says Woof Woof. I thought it was funny. I thought the green would be neutral for boy or girl. I guess it's how anyone sees it. I would like to tell you what items that I used to make this Happy Birthday card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- DCWV
Magical Birthday Wishes and The Party Sign -- From My Stash
The Rest Of The Embellishments -- Dress It Up

I'm done with this post for today. I wish there was a little more sun. I just want to curl up in a blanket and go back to sleep. But, today is laundry day again. This is a never ending battle. I hope you enjoyed this and please go to http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.com. to see other animal cards from our design team. They are great. I would appreciate any comments about my card. ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #247 "VINTAGE STYLE"

It's a beautiful Sunday here at the Michael house. My husband and I went on a date alone for the whole day yesterday. It was the most Wonderful day that we had in a long time. I won't bore you with everything we did but I will tell you we went to the movies to see "American Sniper." This is on heck of a movie. I won't tell you my reactions because I will not spoil it for anyone but if you want to see something with true meaning this is the movie to see. I learned from it and I thought I knew more.

Now to the challenge at hand. As you can see we are doing cards in a "Vintage Style." Our sponsor for this challenge is A Day For Daisies. I was able to chose a digital image called "Poppy In My Hair." She is a beautiful girl with birds and poppies in her hair. This image is only the face of the girl and her hair is hanging down to what would be the bottom of her back. A Day for Daisies has been good to the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and they have wonderful images that they let us use. This week they are also giving to one winner this gracious prize.

Now I would like you to see the card that I made with "Poppy In My Hair."

I really hope you like her. She is a very beautiful lady with the birds and poppies. Since this was a vintage style card I used paper from a paper pack that I have that has all kind of Vintage Paper in it. This paper showed the ladies that would be back in that era and there are more things but they are covered by my image. I had some embellishments that were used from another vintage project and the doilies were in a drawer that I cleaned out just to see what was in there. So, here are the items that I made this card with.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- The Paper Studio & Core'dinations
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Doilies -- Close To My Heart
Flowers -- Wild Orchid
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Thank You for joining me this morning. I hope you found this inspirational and want to participate in our challenge this week. You just need to go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and add your project. You will also see all the other design team members cards for inspiration. So, have a great
Sunday and I will see you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #246 "MYTHICAL CREATURES"

Good Morning!!! How was your week? My husband ended up not working this week because of the temperatures and wind chills under 0 degrees and my daughter was home all week also. A lot of family time this week. I even talked my husband into watching a scary movie with me and listen to him laugh through the whole thing. Oh well, it was time together without kids. Speaking of kids, my first born asked his girlfriend to marry him this week and she said yes. He called me before he did it to get my opinion and make sure I was OK with it. I thought that was so sweet of him. It's great he still talks to me the way he use to. I will always support my kids no matter what. Congratulations Joshua and Jodi.

This weeks challenge was different for me. I know the image I used, Whimsical Dragon, was really adorable. I had a hard time of how I was going to make it whimsical but the dragon done it all for me. The image I used was from The Paper Shelter. They are our sponsor this week.

They have an awesome site so I hope you go and visit them. Their giving away a great prize as you can see from above. Who wouldn't want to spend $15 on some digital stamps. Valentine's Day is coming. You can get those cards started now.

Here is my Whimsical Dragon that I made into a Birthday Card.

I loved the sentiment. I know that it's used a lot but I thought it was perfect for this card. I have a little girls birthday coming up so I think this would just be perfect unless she hates pink. Then I would have to do one in her favorite color. Here are the items I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & Core' dinations
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Ribbon -- Stamp'n Up
Flowers -- Wild Orchids Crafts
Font -- Curlz MT
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Well Thank You for visiting my post today. I hope you liked the card as much as I actually did. I'm going to try and enjoy the rest of my day and I hope you all do to. Have a Wonderful Week and I will see you next week

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #245 "SNOWMEN"

Welcome to the fourth day of January 2015. How many of you keep putting 2014 when your writing the date? I probably would if I didn't have my planner beside me everyday. This year is starting off right where I left off. Nothing ever changes for me in a new year. I didn't even make a New Year's resolution. As a matter of fact, I was in bed by 10:00 pm. Some people just have to say something to you to put you in a bad mood when you just want to have a nice evening. This is actually the first year that I wasn't up at midnight. I don't feel like I missed anything though.

Now on to our first challenge of the New Year and Robyn's Fetish Shop is going to be our first sponsor of the year. Is this not great. We all know that she has the best images to work with. This week I worked with "Carl The Snowman." There were many cute snowmen to choose from but he is the one I chose. He is all dressed up for a day outside. Probably made by cute little kids. So, before you see Carl, I'm going to tell you about what Robyn is giving away this week for the winner.

3 Digital Images
From
Robyn's Fetish's Shop

Now, I'm going to show you Carl The Snowman.

I tried to make the picture not glare with the glitter but it kind of did. This paper was perfect for my image. I have been wanting to use it for a long time and I finally did. I just wish I had more of it. I tried to use some embellishments to match the snowman. I also tried to make a some what snowflake behind the snowman. Not the greatest but I just couldn't get it to work out the way I wanted it. I hope you like it. Here are the products that I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Glitter Cardstock -- Doodlebug Design Inc.
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Snowflake Ribbon -- Spool Of Ribbon
Teardrop Pearls -- ribbonFX
All Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I hope you liked this first post of 2015. There will be many more this year that will be fun and have great prizes. The design team made their own snowman cards so just head on over to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and check them all out. Then when you get some inspiration make a snowman card and enter it on the same page. Have a Terrific Sunday and a Wonderful Week.
